GENERAL SHIPPING POLICY

The Future Perfect processes orders Monday through Fridays only. Please allow for up to 3 days for processing your order. You will receive tracking info once your order has shipped. Standard shipping is by UPS Ground. You may select Express Shipping for UPS 3 Day Select or Priority shipping for UPS 2nd Day Air. If you need your order quicker, please contact us to make arrangements.

How do I get free shipping?

Free shipping is available on most continental US orders over $100. Some items such as furniture and oversize items may require additional shipping and are exempt from this policy. Sale and clearance items and gift certificates do not have free shipping unless otherwise noted. To see if an item requires additional shipping, please read the description of the item, which will indicate if additional shipping cost is required. The free shipping offer is not applicable to any discount offers on dinnerware, glassware, etc. unless specified. Returns and Exchanges are not covered under the free shipping offer. assume $15-$20 shipping for each service for 4 in dinnerware. We do not overcharge for shipping and there are no handling fees. Free shipping is for UPS Ground or USPS standard delivery only. All expedited orders and freighted items, such as large chairs and sofas, will be quoted shipping before the transaction is finalized.

What is the returns policy?

Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt of your order for store credit or exchange only. All returns must be approved by The Future Perfect. Items must be returned in original and unused condition with original manufacturer's packaging. Please make sure that items are well packed and insured for the full amount. A restocking fee may apply to any order not received in good condition. Shipping costs are non-refundable and all costs for return shipment are the responsibility of the customer. Exchanges will incur additional shipping charges. Returns are not accepted after 14 days from receipt of order at your shipping address.

All custom, special orders, opened items or items returned without all original packaging, and sale items are non-returnable.

To make a return for store credit or an exchange, you will need a Return Merchandise Authorization number. Please email us at orders@thefutureperfect.com and include your order number and a list of the item(s) you are returning in the body of the message. We\'ll then reply back with your RMA #, which you\'ll need to include in the address field of your package. This RMA # is very important to ensure proper tracking and handling of returned goods. Do not return any product(s) until you have received an RMA #.

Upon receipt of the shipment, Thefutureperfect.com will contact you by email to confirm your store credit or exchange. Please reference your RMA number when calling or emailing to check on the status of your return.

Internet returns may also be made in person to The Future Perfect within 14 days of shipping order date only during our normal business hours of 12-7pm. We will issue you a store credit or you may exchange your item for something new.

How can I buy something if I don't want to use a credit card online?

We can take your order in a variety of ways, and yes you will have the same choices of gift-wrap and message. You can telephone us toll-free, with your credit card details, at +1 877 FUT PERF (388 1779), or you can email us at hello@thefutureperfect.com.

How will I know that my order was accepted?

After you click "Place Order" an e-mail confirmation including an order number will be sent to the e-mail address entered when the order was placed.

How can I change or cancel my order?

Please call us at +1 877 FUT PERF (388 1779) as soon as possible to either add or remove an item from your order. Once an order is being packed at our Distribution Center we are no longer able to modify your order.

When will I be charged?

Once your order has shipped, your credit card will be charged, unless the item(s) you request are not in stock, back-ordered, or a special order (anything that is made-to-order), in which case we'll collect funds to reserve the item(s) for you. You will be charged for the items that are shipped to you, along with appropriate shipping and tax, where applicable. Orders are subject to verification and acceptance before shipping. We are not responsible for errors made during order, address or credit card entry.

My Object is backordered. What does this mean?

Good things come to those who wait! We sometimes have merchandise for sale that has not yet been received at our distribution center, or that has sold out and is being restocked. You can still order these items to reserve your favorite color, etc, and then we'll ship it to you when supplies are replenished.

If your order contains a mix of in stock items and backordered items and you select express shipping, we will only be able to apply the expedited shipping to the in stock items. Backordered items cannot be expedited and will ship via standard shipping when they arrive.

How will my items be shipped?

In a small effort to save the world, The Future Perfect reuses boxes and sends your objects in perfectly, imperfect packaging. Recycled is beautiful.

Do you ship internationally?

How long will my order take to ship?

Please allow at least 2 weeks for shipments. If you need something shipped faster than that please select a faster shipping method or contact us at Hello@thefutureperfect.com to discuss specific details.
